Delete Your Seatly Account

If you'd like to permanently delete your Seatly account and all associated data, follow the steps below.

How to request deletion

Send an email to support@seatly.in from the email address registered to your account, with the subject line "Delete My Account". Please include:

• Your registered phone number (your login username)
• Your library name
• Confirmation that you understand this action is permanent

We verify the request against your registered account details before proceeding, to make sure no one else can delete your account on your behalf.

What gets deleted

Once verified, we permanently delete:

• Your library account, owner name, email, and phone number
• All student records, including names, contact details, and photos stored on your account
• Seat and shift configuration data
• Activity logs associated with your account

What we retain, and why

Indian tax and financial regulations require certain payment records to be retained for a minimum period even after account deletion. We retain:

• Payment and transaction records (amount, date, Razorpay transaction ID) — retained for up to 8 years, as required for financial record-keeping and tax compliance. This data is not used for any other purpose once your account is deleted.

How long it takes

We process deletion requests within 7 business days of verifying your identity. You'll receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
